Visit Mullingar
A visit to Mullingar, Co. Westmeath
Mullingar Pewter
Our visitors receive a warm welcome upon arrival to our Mullingar Pewter Home & Gift Gallery. One enters the foyer and is immediately immersed in our Experience. The Home and Gift Gallery provides a broad shopping experience for the home and includes many Irish producers. The Pewter Gallery, just off the Foyer to the right, provides our showcase area, where we present our vast Pewter product area, and behind this we have our production area. Mullingar Pewter is handcrafted by skilled workers on site daily (Mon - Friday) and one can visit the production to see it for yourself, though we do recommend prior notice be given as it is subject to availability. To the left one finds The Pewter Café which produces quality food to satisfy all tastes. Our menu is vast but includes all day breakfasts, quiches, wraps, salads, pastries, and other delicious treats.
Our location allows us to be a must go to destination for those exploring the Royal Canal Greenway which runs almost alongside our building at the Downs Bridge along the newly developed Greenway.

Festivals & Events
Mullingar is long known as a town for producing high quality music and talent. We are always proud to call the town home but when you think about the talent that has sprung from the town it is hard not to be impressed. Talent such as Joe Dolan, Niall Horan, Niall Breslin (AKA Bressie), The Blizzards, The Academic ...Also, the home of the World attended Fleadh Cheoil Na hEireann.. The list goes on and on.
It is not surprising then that we attract a muscial culture and this year , after so many cancellations due to Covid, we are hosting the following:
Westmeath Bachelor Festival - Homepage - Westmeath Bachelor Festival
Festival of Fires at the Hill of Uisnigh - Bealtaine - Uisneach
The All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil - Fleadh Cheoil

Body & Soul - Homepage - Body & Soul (bodyandsoul.ie)
and many many more in or near Mullingar town.
The Mullingar Arts Centre is a hive of activity once more too.
