Delivery Information
Packages are generally dispatched within 2-3 working days after receipt of order and the price includes handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas postage fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects. Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.

The following are the terms and conditions for use of and purchase of products from this website www.mullingarpewter.com and from Mullingar Pewter Limited ("the Company"). – Company Registration Number 44180. Use of the Site constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these terms, which may at any time be amended. Your use at any time thereafter constitutes your agreement to be bound by the terms as amended.

Unless otherwise indicated, your use of the Site constitutes your agreement to the Company replying to you by electronic mail for such purposes as the Company may consider appropriate. The Company does not accept any responsibility to the extent that the Site may be connected to any other sites or service, beyond it’s the control. It is the policy of the Company to ensure that all goods are supplied to our customers in perfect condition and that every possible precaution is taken to protect the integrity of the product that is sold. Currency rates may vary and will be charged at exchange rate on the day that ordered is received. The Company reserves the right to refuse to supply any individual or company and reserves the right to deny access to the Site. The Company reserves the right to cancel a transaction where there has been a genuine or obvious error in respect to price. The Company price quoted on the website does not include import taxes that may be applied by Customs in Countries outside the EU. The Company cannot be responsible for delays due to custom regulations outside the EU. This site is provided through English only.
Delivery & Notification
Delivery is included in prices shown on the website www.pewtergiftshop.com. Amendments to delivery details cannot be made after goods have been dispatched. For other lead times on gifts please see individual product details or visit our Delivery Details page. Please note the Company cannot be responsible for adverse weather conditions effecting delivery times.
You are responsible for providing correct daytime delivery address, telephone number and postal code. The Company cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery if recipient address and telephone details are insufficient or incorrect. Any shortfall of which you become aware must be notified to the Company within two days of receipt of goods. Claims for non-delivery must be made within 30 days of dispatch of goods. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the delay and dispatch as soon as it arrives. All items are subject to availability. Once an order has been dispatched, no amendments can be made to your order.
Payment
Payment must be made in full prior to us dispatching the goods.
Ownership Rights & Limitations
Goods are the property of the Company until such goods and all outstanding debts to the Company and/or its associate companies have been paid for in full. This Site, its contents together with any trade names used by the Company is protected by intellectual property rights and permission is only given for personal use. Any use beyond that permitted may constitute an infringement of owners' rights and may be prosecuted.
Limitation as to Damages
The Company shall take all reasonable care in packaging any fragile or breakable items. In the event that any such items are damaged in transit the Company shall be responsible for replacement costs of item only. The Company shall not, in any way, be responsible for any personal injury or damage to property howsoever caused.
Cancellations
Any amendments or cancellations to an order must be submitted in writing before the order has been processed.
Returns
If you are not satisfied with your product, please note we can only refund or exchange a product if we receive it back within 10 working days of receipt.
Returned product must be in its original packaging and in re-saleable condition.
- Please ensure product is returned in original packaging and resalable condition, as no refund or exchange will be authorised unless these conditions are met.
- Where a product is faulty, it must be sent back in its original packaging. As soon as we receive the return, the product will be inspected. We will get a replacement product sent out without delay.
- Please email info@pewtergiftshop.com with any details of returns/damages and include your Order Number (see address label on package for order number). Include a note stating the reason for the product return, along with your name, address, daytime contact phone number. The Customer Service Department is available Monday-Saturday 9:30am – 6.00pm.
- Then take your parcel to the post office for return using the returns address: The Pewter Shop Limited, Greatdown, The Downs, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland.
