How it works

To ensure you get the most out of your compass, here's a few steps you can follow:

  1. Place the compass in the palm of your hand.
  2. Let the needle settle, then align the green needle with the red needle - your compass now points to Magnetic North.
  3. Once aligned, you can determine other directions.
  4. For best results, keep your compass away from metal objects, electronics, and magnets, as these can interfere with the needle.
