Hurling is now more popular than ever with the All-Ireland final played every August in Croke Park Stadium. In recent years it has it become a worldwide sport due to the extensive Irish diaspora.
It's important to note that hurling has been played in Ireland for over 3,000 years it is said to be one of the most skilful and fastest game on grass. Played with a ball (Sliotar) and a stick (Hurley) with a team of 15 players on each side, the match lasting 70 minutes.
